Company certifications
Alta Industries is an ISO 9001 2015 certified company, which means having specific requirements for a quality management system (QMS). We particularly want to use the system to ensure constant further development of our operational processes, to demonstrate our ability to increase in efficiency and productivity, to have a globally recognized standard, and to continually monitor, maintain and manage quality.
Alta has 4 ESA certified operators for soldering.
Products certifications
Alta Industries has obtained European and internationally recognized certifications to help build confidence in the safety of its equipment and machinery:
- ATEX (EU countries)
- IECEx (Accepted in several worldwide countries)
- CUTR (Custom Union Technical Regulation)
- UL (UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories - sets standards for different product categories and tests products to make sure they meet these standards
(This trademark means that products sold in the EEA (European Economic Area) have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements).
In November 1998 the company obtained free pass certification from Nuovo Pignone (Baker Hughes) in Florence, Italy.
